RANKS
Cathay Pacific Virtual offers pilots the opportunity to explore the full breadth and depth of our expansive route network and fleet while progressing through a challenging rank structure. As one climbs up the rank, a pilot will gain access to new aircraft and other exclusive perks.
All pilots start out as Cadets, and will be put into a training batch to train at Adelaide Parafield Airport. Cadets will have the decision to become a pilot in our Airbus division of aircrafts or a pilot in our Boeing division of aircrafts. They will schedule and complete as many training sessions until the Training Captains think one is ready for their checkride. If the Training Captain on duty at the Check Ride thinks you have done the 1 hour of pattern work well, you may advance to the next rank of a Second Officer and begin operations. If not, you are required to redo the pattern work session again two weeks later.

FIRST OFFICER
Requirements:
Overall flight time of 100 hours

Cathay Pacific Virtual, Cathay Pacific Cargo Virtual, Cathay Dragon Virtual or Hong Kong Express Virtual flights.
Codeshare routes
A330 (A333), B777 (B773) or B747 (B74N) + all other aircraft in previous rank.
CAPTAIN
Requirements:
Overall flight time of 200 hours
Perks:
Cathay Pacific Virtual, Cathay Pacific Cargo Virtual, Cathay Dragon Virtual and Hong Kong Express flights.
A350 (A359) or B777 (B77W) + all other aircraft in fleet.
TRAINING CAPTAIN
Requirements:
Manual promotion only
IFATC qualified
